Dianne Herrin created and successfully laid the foundation for many local organizations that focus on climate change solutions – CC MOMS for the FUTURE, BLUER, Unitarian Fellowship of WC Earth Stewardship Task Force - and is a member of the WCU/WC Borough Joint Sustainability Task Force. Her initiatives, leadership, commitment and dedication to a healthy environment will be honored and recognized at this celebration.

Earth Day Bus Trip to Washington, DC

The Council on Environmental Quality at the White House has invited Richard Whiteford to help organize Washington DC's Earth Day event. Where: On the Mall in Washington DC When: April 25 th , 2010 Time:  11:00 AM till 6:00 PM Topic of Focus: Climate Change Celebrities confirmed so far (the agenda is still being developed): Sting , John Legend, The Roots, Passion Pit & more.

Confirmed Speaker so far: Dr. James Hansen NASA Climate Scientist. Richard Whiteford, in conjunction with Earth Day Network, will be providing free round trip bus transportation to Washington D.C. from the Exton Mall parking lot and in Philadelphia at Love Park on April 25 at 8:00 AM.
